Cheryl Jones is founder and president of Simply The Best.

Born in Gainesville, Florida, she moved to Texas in 1977. After earning a bachelor-of-science degree from the University of Houston in Hotel/Restaurant Management, she spent several years managing and training staffs at Walt Disney World, Sea World, Hilton, Westin Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels and Outrigger Hotels.

By the time Cheryl established Simply The Best in 1990, she had acquired considerable practical experience and professional skill in developing successful programs in leadership, change management, staff retention, training, customer service, personal development, team building, and other programs and initiatives that are critical for both personal and organizational growth.

Put simply, she is well equipped with the knowledge and experience to get companies and their employees to where they need to be. And, she understands firsthand the struggles and challenges organizations, executives, and employees face on a day-to-day basis.

During the past 16 years, Cheryl has helped a host of companies and organizations improve performance internally and in the marketplace. She has numerous satisfied clients, including the San Antonio Spurs basketball organization, WellMed Medical Management, Valero Energy, Wells Fargo Bank, World Savings, Humana, Methodist Hospital, the San Antonio Country Club, Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union, Human Resources Managers Association, and Ilex Oncology. 

Cheryl is a distinguished speaker and author, and has delivered more than 3,000 presentations throughout the United States. She delivers a sincere, high-energy message that dramatically increases the effectiveness of interpersonal relationships that will lead to increased productivity, more energy, and improved quality of life in the workplace and at home.

On the personal side, Cheryl and her husband have been happily married for more than 18 years and have two children.
